About This Role

Golding Contractors is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for participating in plant risk assessments, providing technical support and expertise to the business, and undertaking various Plant Engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to plant risk assessments and provide technical support and expertise to the business.
  • Undertake various Plant Engineering projects, including predictive analysis to estimate how and when components may fail.
  • Work with the Specialist Mechanical Engineering – Systems to develop proactive maintenance tasks and ensure they are captured appropriately.
  • Develop SAP task lists and associated objects as required in accordance with approved lifecycle plant rate strategies and maintenance plan requests.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment, and develop work instructions for tasks performed as part of the role.
Requirements
  • Recent Tertiary Engineering qualifications (not Masters or Post Graduate).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and liaise with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Prioritisation and organisational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Advanced MS Office, SAP, Mine planning software and Power Bi skills.
