Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

In this pivotal role, you will lead the technical investigation of mechanical systems and collaborate with clients to establish project scopes and cost estimates. Your expertise in designing, developing, and modifying mechanical components will be instrumental in resolving complex technical issues and ensuring the successful execution of projects.
Main Responsibilities- Evaluate and apply standard engineering methods and techniques for the development of original designs, layouts, and specifications.
- Design, develop, modify, and evaluate mechanical components and processes using relevant engineering procedures and design standards.
- Prepare or assist in preparing conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals.
- Coordinate mechanical engineering efforts with specialty groups, engineering disciplines, clients, vendors, contractors, construction, and other functional groups.
- Provide guidance and support to other mechanical engineers as needed.
- A bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of systems, calculations, equipment, applications of methods, materials, and computers in the discipline, and of engineering work planning and control methods.
- Computer skills including competence in MS Office suite and other common software.
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for individual and team tasks.
- Analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated skills in oral and written communication.
