About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Services Engineer to join our team in Brisbane, Australia. This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves overseeing planned after-hours shutdowns, providing on-call coverage for repairing and maintaining mechanical services, and managing automated systems within the infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planned maintenance tasks on over 125 tunnel ventilation fans and essential ventilation and control systems.
  • Work closely with the project engineer to identify failures and implement evidence-based solutions for asset maintenance.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration UEE32211 or Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade MEM30205.
  • QBCC Mechanical services—air-conditioning and refrigeration occupational License.
  • QBCC Mechanical services – Nominee Supervisor (optional).
  • Extensive knowledge of ventilation fans and motors.
  • Experience in maintenance and repairs within various settings.
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills.
