About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our team in Coffs Harbour. As a key member of our HR team, you will assist with recruitment and retention strategies, compliance, workers compensation, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement recruitment attraction, selection, and retention strategies and processes
  • Manage employee files for compliance requirements
  • Assist with the implementation of HR projects and initiatives arising from strategic planning and process improvement
  • Provide service and advice to internal customers on a range of people-related matters, including employment contracts and performance management
  • Manage workers compensation and return to work requirements
What We're Looking For
  • Relevant degree qualifications and/or equivalent experience in human resources or people & culture functions
  • Relevant experience in recruitment and selection, HR administration, and HR projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and promote a positive workplace culture
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks, with a strong attention to detail
