We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our team in Coffs Harbour. As a key member of our HR team, you will assist with recruitment and retention strategies, compliance, workers compensation, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement recruitment attraction, selection, and retention strategies and processes
- Manage employee files for compliance requirements
- Assist with the implementation of HR projects and initiatives arising from strategic planning and process improvement
- Provide service and advice to internal customers on a range of people-related matters, including employment contracts and performance management
- Manage workers compensation and return to work requirements
- Relevant degree qualifications and/or equivalent experience in human resources or people & culture functions
- Relevant experience in recruitment and selection, HR administration, and HR projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and promote a positive workplace culture
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks, with a strong attention to detail
- Negotiable salary + salary packaging benefits
- Permanent part-time hours per week
