Job Title: Metocean Coordinator

Job Description:

Fugro is seeking a skilled coordinator to support the Metocean team in proposal development, from initial analysis of client requirements through to proposal preparation and submission. Based in Perth, you will work in a multi-disciplinary environment and collaborate closely with the Metocean and Commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Metocean team with request for quotations (RFQs) while liaising with stakeholders to ensure proposals have a solid technical approach and comply with local standards;
  • Review tender opportunities, costings, business plans, and contract reviews for current and potential clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives;
  • Generate professional proposal and prequalification documents, and coordinate the tender submission preparation process including control of internal tender documentation flow;
  • Plan, attend, and document review meetings and risk assessments held with clients, subcontractors, and equipment manufacturers;
  • Develop costs analysis and pricing schedules based on proposal requirements while handling client inquiries and undertaking contract negotiations;
  • Assist the sales function of the Commercial Department and marketing/promotional activities.

About You:

  • Tertiary degree in Finance, Business, or relevant technical majors in Oceanography and Marine Science;
  • Demonstrated tender management experience in the industry of Metocean, Environmental, or Hydrography in combination with operational experience;
  • Advanced or intermediate Microsoft Suite and Excel skills for projects reporting;
  • Strong communications skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders and clients from different levels;
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
