Job Title

A Psihcology Professional is sought after to provide early intervention and therapy services to support children and families in maximising their independence and participation.

  • We are seeking a skilled Psychologist with tertiary qualifications, registration with AHPRA and current Driver's License who can contribute to our multidisciplinary allied health organization committed to delivering evidence-based early intervention and therapy services.
About the Role

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing standardised clinical assessments, developing functional routine-based goals with clients and families and conducting ongoing evaluation and review.

Focusing on Continuous Improvement:

The role involves continuous improvement through regular evaluation and review of practices to ensure that the highest quality service is delivered to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Providing information, education and support to clients and families about best practice strategies for behaviour change and increasing participation.
  • Developing individualised plans based on assessment data, client goals and available resources.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals to achieve optimal outcomes for children and families.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current registration with AHPRA
  • Ability to provide counselling and knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people and parents
  • Experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments is desirable
  • Compliance with necessary checks and certifications including AHPRA registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, Covid-19 vaccination certificate or exemption, First Aid Training, and possession of a Driver's License and Vehicle
