As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we provide a range of public health services to the Nepean and Blue Mountains and Lithgow Region.The Nepean Mental Health Centre provides inpatient care for people experiencing acute mental health issues through the short-stay Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre (PECC), the Acute Mental Health Unit, Mental Health High Dependency Unit, and Older Persons Mental Health Unit.

For more information, please click here Child Safe Standards.For assistance with applying through the NSW Health Career Portal please click here.What You Will Bring To The RoleDegree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner regulation Agency (AHPRA)Demonstrated capabilities for recovery-oriented mental health care and a commitment to the development of recovery oriented approaches to inpatient mental health careDemonstrated ability to utilise occupational therapy assessments and interventions to support consumers' recovery utilising independent professional judgement and seeking supervision in line with level of experience, knowledge and skillsDemonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, engage in open communication, contribute to a positive team environment and actively contribute to the learning and development of othersDemonstrated high level written documentation, computer competency and oral communication skillsAble to participate as a member of the team in quality improvement activities, development of policies and procedures and clinical researchWillingness to provide supervision and support to students on placement in line with level of experienceCurrent NSW Driver Licence (P2 acceptable) and willingness to use same for work purposesEmployment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.Need more information?
