
Families Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Program Worker to join our team and support families in regional Australia. The successful candidate will work with preschools to provide a soft entry point into service support for families and carers.
The role involves working closely with community preschools, providing high-quality, strengths-based, and person-centered intake, assessment, and interventions. You will be responsible for building collaborative relationships within the preschools and working within the frameworks of the Preschool and Social Futures is essential to the position.

About the Role
- Provide high-quality, strengths-based, and person-centered intake, assessment, and interventions to support families.
- Work closely with community preschools to provide a soft entry point into service support for families and carers.
- Build collaborative relationships within the preschools and work within the frameworks of the Preschool and Social Futures.
- Ensure school readiness, milestone development, and family harmony.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in health, education, psychology, social work, social science, or social welfare.
- Demonstrated experience providing high-quality, evidence-based, customer-centered, culturally appropriate individual and/or family therapeutic interventions and referrals.
- Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with all people to ensure effective relationships.
