About the Role:

The Relocation Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of the Resilient Lands Program relocation service. This involves providing expert advice and support throughout the relocation process to help flood-affected community members effectively relocate to safe lands.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support the customer relocation journey and decision-making process for eligible community members
  • Collaborate with the Resilient Lands Program team and external service providers
  • Provide advice and make appropriate referrals to assist clients with complex support and housing needs
  • Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions
  • Support reporting and data analysis to inform policy and program improvements

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to:

  • Deal with a diverse cohort of customers with varying levels of vulnerability
  • Work across a broad range of policies and processes associated with relocation
  • Achieve buy-in and support of multiple stakeholders, balancing competing needs, interests, and demands in a high-pressure and high-volume work environment
