Are you passionate about community engagement and stakeholder relations? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to make a real impact as a Stakeholder Engagement Advisor.

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join our Telecommunications team in Canberra. As a Stakeholder Engagement Advisor, you will play a key role in shaping how we connect with landowners, local communities, and key stakeholders, ensuring that every voice is heard, valued, and respected.

About the Role
  • You will lead and support a variety of engagement activities from start to finish, including organising and attending community and stakeholder engagement events, liaising with landowners for property access, and preparing communications materials.
  • You will also be responsible for keeping stakeholders informed about upcoming works and activities, maintaining stakeholder databases and tracking tools, and responding to enquiries and resolving concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a dynamic, stakeholder-focused environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Hands-on experience in community engagement, ideally within telecommunications or infrastructure
  • Confidence working in politically or socially sensitive settings
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • A valid Class C Driver's Licence
  • Willingness to travel as needed
