We are seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape how we connect with landowners, local communities and key stakeholders.

  • Organising and attending community and stakeholder engagement events
  • Liaising with landowners for property access
  • Preparing communications materials and managing public notifications
  • Keeping stakeholders informed about upcoming works and activities
  • Maintaining stakeholder databases and tracking tools
  • Responding to enquiries and resolving concerns

The role involves working closely with internal teams and the client. Some travel will be required.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Hands-on experience in community engagement
  • Confidence working in politically or socially sensitive settings
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive solutions-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • A valid Class C Driver's Licence
  • Willingness to travel as needed
