About the TeamOur Private Wealth team is dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of solutions and market-leading products to our clients. We work closely with our corporate banking, business banking, and retail banking businesses to deliver a tailored investment service that meets the unique needs of each client.
About the OpportunityThe Senior Manager Private Wealth Markets will play a key role in the delivery of quality operational outcomes for the Private Wealth business. This includes managing the execution of investments on behalf of clients, implementing portfolios, and driving the review and uplift of internal processes and procedures to deliver operational efficiencies.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of wealth management ecosystems and processes, including wrap platforms, equities, bonds, and FX execution platforms. They will also have a sound understanding of the investment process, the range of investment markets, and financial instruments.
The Senior Manager Private Wealth Markets will be responsible for:
- Managing the execution of investments on behalf of clients across all asset classes.
- Implementing portfolios as they pertain to managed accounts and direct investments.
- Driving the review and uplift of internal processes and procedures to deliver operational efficiencies.
- Contributing to the effective operation of governance forums, including the Product Management Committee and the Managed Account Working Group.
- Representing Commonwealth Private, including our investment approach, philosophy, and principles.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or Business, and relevant experience in investment execution, trading, sales-trading, or relationship management. They will also have superior numeracy skills, acute attention to detail, and the ability to work swiftly and under pressure with vigilant accuracy.
