After Hours Coordinator

Kilmore District Health (KDH) provides a variety of health and aged care services. Inpatient and outpatient services are offered to the community of Kilmore and district including maternity, medical, surgical, and subacute care. The hospital has 30 Acute beds, 2 Operating suites, a four-bay Urgent Care Centre and a District Nursing Service. Aged Care includes a 30 Bed High Care facility and a 30 Bed Low Care Facility.
We are currently looking for highly motivated leaders with strong clinical, interpersonal, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to join our After-Hours Coordinator team.
You will be in a key leadership role that is accountable for the efficient & effective operational management of the hospital after hours. The role supports and encompasses planning implementing and evaluating practices, policy compliance, processes and services within the hospital. You will work closely with and support the shift leaders achieving excellence in care delivery for our community in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
**To be successful within this role you will need to possess**:
- Current nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Extensive clinical skills and experience
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective role model in the area of clinical practice
- Sound understanding of contemporary Human Resources Management practices
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others
- Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills
- Sound Computer skills
