Strategic Account Lead

We seek a highly skilled Strategic Account Lead to spearhead our expansion in Australia.

  • This role involves developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key enterprise customers, leveraging WWT's advanced solutions and services to drive business growth.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing strong executive-level connections within their assigned customer base, fostering effective partnerships that yield significant revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, ensuring seamless alignment with customer objectives and business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of key customers.
  • Drive sales achievement through proactive relationship-building, effective communication, and strategic planning.
  • Manage and maintain accurate forecasting and execution, assisting team members with deal qualification and strategy to optimize sales outcomes.
  • Provide expert-level strategic guidance on competitive market positioning, aligning WWT's offerings with current and future business opportunities.
  • Work closely with technical leadership and directors to develop innovative business solutions that enhance our position within target customers and drive profitability.
  • Engage subject matter experts to create integrated solutions addressing complex customer challenges.

Requirements:

  • 7-12+ years' sales experience in a relevant industry, with 7-10+ years managing/leading a substantial book of business.
  • A proven track record of success in sales, with expertise in large account management, cross-functional team utilization, and innovative solution development.
  • Executive-level customer experience and established relationships are crucial for success in this role.
  • Experience with consultative services sales approach and/or disruptive technology is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of diverse selling motions in Australian enterprise markets, including contracts and programs, and the ability to identify creative paths to market.
  • Outstanding communication and financial skills are essential.
  • Leadership experience is a plus.
