About The Role

The Enterprise Strategic Account Executive will play a key role in driving Confluent's business growth in Australia through acquiring new customers while maintaining and expanding existing accounts. You will be responsible to drive and execute on the Go to market strategy for the region and deliver business outcomes for large enterprise customers by your expertise in solution selling in SaaS or Data space.

Responsibilities
  • Build awareness for Kafka and Confluent
  • Actively prospect, identify, qualify and develop sales pipeline in Australia, contributing to our Enterprise revenue generating effort
  • Close business to exceed monthly, quarterly and annual bookings objectives
  • Build strong and effective relationships within the Enterprise space, resulting into growth opportunities
  • Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing Confluent Partners
  • Create and execute go to market plans that are based on viral methods and organic growth
Qualifications
  • You have 15+ years of Enterprise sales experience in the Technology space
  • Deep experience selling within the Database, Open Source, Messaging or Big Data space to large enterprises
  • An ability to articulate and sell the business value of big data and the big impact on businesses of all sizes
  • Experience selling to Software Developers or Technology leaders including C-Suite Executives
  • Experience of working in a sales role in a high growth organization
