About the Position

This is a permanent role on a 4 days on:3 days off roster, FIFO from Darwin or Cairns or residential on Groote Eylandt. Domestic relocation to Alyangula, Darwin, or Cairns from anywhere in Australia is provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract and Site Management: Coordinate and manage contracts and shutdown support to ensure seamless operations, supplier performance and safety standards are met.
  • Supplier Oversight: Monitor supplier performance, compliance and service delivery.
  • Township Operations: Oversee the management of all Township facilities including mining camps (1000 rooms), supermarket, aerodrome, licensed venue, greenspaces, transportation, cleaning and other facilities.
  • Shutdown Coordination: Coordinate Site Services requirements during shutdown periods.
  • Budget Review and Control: Review budgets, cost controls and procurement processes.
  • Internal Communications and Improvement Initiatives: Lead internal communications and improvement initiatives.
About You

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Relationship Building: Building strong working relationships & influencing across teams.
  • Contract Knowledge: Working knowledge of contract management processes and techniques.
  • Supplier Management: Managing suppliers and contracts in dynamic environments.
  • Time Management: Prioritising multiple deadlines with high attention to detail.
  • Safety-Focused Leadership: Leading with a safety-first, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.

A relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required for this position.
