**Emergency Medicine Department Leadership Role**
The Unit Head of Emergency Medicine is accountable for the clinical and operational performance of the cardiac emergency department.
This leadership position oversees the senior medical team, promoting a culture of excellence, coordination, and management in the emergency department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Service Director to coordinate emergency care
- Fostering interdisciplinary clinical practice and excellence
- Developing and implementing strategies to advance VHH Emergency Medicine through clinical education and research
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require extensive clinical experience in managing cardiology and post-cardiac surgery patients in the emergency setting.
Additionally, you should possess strong leadership and organizational skills, enabling you to establish the unit's structure and appoint medical staff in consultation with the Service Director.
