As a Care Manager at Catholic Healthcare, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical leadership and support to the clinical and personal care teams.
About the RoleThis role involves working closely with the Residential Manager to ensure that residents receive excellent care in accordance with Aged Care quality Standards and CHL policy and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Ensuring timely and effective delivery of high-quality clinical care to residents
- Leading and coaching the clinical and support teams to achieve quality resident outcomes
- Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to all policies and procedures, including IPC, to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Supporting the Residential Manager as second-in-charge
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional care to older adults
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Ability to assess and understand AN-ACC processes
- Demonstrated knowledge of age-related health issues and comprehensive clinical skills
- Strong coaching/training skills and ability to influence others
- Customer-centric approach to business
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to obtain Police Check and NDIS clearance
