As a Senior Contracts Manager, you will oversee the lifecycle of contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
- Contract Management: Manage contract preparation, negotiation, and administration with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors. Ensure contracts adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks associated with contracts and implement mitigation strategies.
- Cost Control: Manage head contract claims, variations, subcontract claims, and monthly cost reporting.
- Document Management: Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documents, ensuring proper filing and retrieval.
- Dispute Resolution: Address disputes in a timely and effective manner.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve contract management processes for enhanced efficiency.
- Strong understanding of contract law.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Construction management degree or similar qualification.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in contracts administration, with a proven track record in complex contract negotiations and management.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
