Overview

A comprehensive contracts administrator is required to oversee the lifecycle of various commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in contract negotiation and management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key responsibilities include preparing, negotiating, and administering contracts with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors; identifying and mitigating potential risks; managing cost control for head contract claims, variations, and monthly cost reporting; maintaining accurate records of contracts and related documents; and addressing disputes or issues that arise during the contract lifecycle.

Requirements include a strong understanding of contract law and regulations; excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite; exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; a construction management degree or similar relevant tertiary/trade qualification; and a minimum of 4+ years of experience in contracts administration with a proven track record in complex contract negotiations and management.
