Senior Contracts Professional

A leading construction company delivers building, civil, and infrastructure projects.

An experienced Senior Contracts Administrator is required to manage commercial construction projects across Northern NSW.

The successful candidate will oversee contracts, ensure compliance with legal standards, and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Prepare, negotiate, and administer contracts with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Cost Control: Manage cost control for head contract claims, variations, subcontract claims, monthly cost reporting.
  • Document Control: Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documents.
  • Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve disputes in a timely manner.
Required Skills:
  • Strong understanding of contract law and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Construction management degree or similar relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in contracts administration with a proven track record in complex contract negotiations.
