About The Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors. Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts and implement strategies to mitigate them
  • Cost Control: Manage all cost control for head contract claims, variations, subcontract claims, monthly cost reporting
  • Document Control: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts and related documents. Ensure proper filing and retrieval of contract documentation
  • Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve any disputes or issues that arise during the contract lifecycle in a timely and effective manner
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve contract management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Skills:
  • Strong understanding of contract law and regulations
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Jobpac experience (not essential although will be highly regarded)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Attributes:
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

About You - Skills And Experience
  • Construction management degree or similar relevant tertiary/trade qualification
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in contracts administration with a proven track record in complex contract negotiations and management
