Hospital Aide (North West)

About the Role

The Hospital Aide will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to patients in a Level 2 Critical Care Unit. The role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prioritize daily workload to ensure readiness of beds and bed space for new admissions.
  • Maintain ward stock on a daily basis to ensure smooth running of ward area in accordance with existing procedures.
  • Follow cleaning standards, infection control standards, policies and protocols in accordance with hospital requirements.
  • Report unsafe practices or acts that may endanger occupants/visitors to the hospital.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of infection control and cleaning standards.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
