Job Overview:

The Reviews and Reform team spearheads innovative fiscal reform initiatives, ensuring the sustainability of the State's finances.

The team collaborates with NSW government agencies to optimise resource allocation and enhance service delivery efficiency by offering strategic advice, conducting project-based reviews, and developing frameworks to boost financial accountability.

  • Deliver projects to propose strategic, creative solutions to improve resource allocation and efficiency for various government agencies
  • Analyse and evaluate government expenditure, organisational structures, and service delivery to identify fiscal sustainability and strategic reform opportunities
  • Provide specialist advice on shaping and driving strategy and policy for fiscal improvement opportunities
  • Work collaboratively to analyse issues and provide advice from a whole-of-Treasury perspective

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Ability to apply critical-thinking and problem-solving experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience in project management, consulting, strategy development, financial due diligence, analysis, or program evaluation
  • Tertiary qualifications in economics, accounting, finance, law, business, public policy, or a related discipline
