About the role
Retail Channel Manager
As the Retail Channel Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the implementation and performance of sales campaigns across AGL's newly established retail partnership channels. This role is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of sales outcomes, including the planning, development, and implementation of growth initiatives that are focused on driving customer value.
About the role:
Drive customer growth by owning sales objectives, delivering forecasts, and meeting performance and quality targets.
Lead campaign execution across retail partnerships through training, engagement, compliance, and incentive programs.
Enhance channel performance by optimising OPEX, customer value, NPS, digital adoption, and multi-product outcomes.
Strengthen partner capability via tailored training, digital enablement, and embedding AGL's customer value proposition.
Manage reporting and relationships by producing performance insights and maintaining alignment with key stakeholders.
About you:
To thrive in this role, you'll bring a blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and customer focus. Ideally, you'll have:
Relevant qualifications and experience – A degree in marketing, business, or a related field, tenured experience in sales, partnerships, or growth-focused roles.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management – Proven ability to lead external partners and build collaborative relationships across teams.
Strategic and analytical mindset – Skilled in planning and problem-solving, with experience using tools like Power BI and Speech Analytics to drive insights.
Customer-first approach with compliance awareness – A commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences while ensuring regulatory and quality standards are met.
Innovative thinking and resource management – A passion for continuous improvement, balancing creativity with effective budget and resource allocation.
