What's the role? Support the Content Director and Digital Director in the day-to-day running of the delicious. assets across delicious.com.au, print pages, our video and social media channels, as well as the wider News Corp network to deliver and exceed audience, engagement and commercial content KPIs. Key Responsibilities

  • Commission content for site verticals with print extensions video and social media channels as required to ensure daily engagement metrics are met, and identify repurposing opportunities.

  • Work with our commercial, marketing and wider News Corp editorial teams to ensure content and campaigns are delivered on time and to target.

  • Deliver best-in-class SEO content ideas, headlines and articles that drive audience and subscriptions, as well as revenue for our commercial partners.

  • Use data-based insights to inform content and provide input into strategic plans.

  • Assist in the production of editorial content as required, deputising to members of the team as required.

  • Working with the social media editor, you will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling, posting and monitoring of our social media channels. You will ensure we capture the passion of our audience and that our content speaks to them and suits the platforms they are using, ultimately delivering referrals back to the brand website.

  • Utilise a variety of platforms to share, source and interact daily with our audiences, striking a balance between food, lifestyle and travel news with fun, entertaining stories to inform our audience.

  • Represent the brand at industry and internal meetings and events. Who are you?

  • Ideally, have 3-5 years of experience in a similar digital role. Newsroom and subscription-driven experience preferred.

  • Passionate about food, restaurants, bars and hospitality and loves creating content around this.

  • Strong SEO background and you have experience crafting the perfect headline for different stories.

  • Confident and fast writer, with excellent grammar and comprehension skills.

  • Excellent communicator and able to work with multiple stakeholders across commercial, marketing, editorial and product teams.

  • Strong eye for photography and high visual literacy.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop) and experience working in WordPress CMS environments is an advantage.

  • Able to work on a range of projects, manage strict deadlines and work independently.
