What we are offering
Join the Gawler Health Service team as an Administration Officer, providing essential, high-quality, and confidential administrative support across clinical and non-clinical areas. In this role you’ll manage patient admissions and discharges, support theatre administration, maintain medical records, and deliver a welcoming, customer-focused reception service. This ongoing role offers variety and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network.

The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network runs from Kangaroo Island to Eudunda, wrapping around metropolitan areas (this position is in Gawler). What you will contribute
- Deliver courteous, efficient reception and administrative support to patients, staff, and visitors
- Manage patient admissions, discharges, and medical records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Support effective communication systems including paging, public address, and information services
- Contribute to continuous improvement through teamwork, quality initiatives, and best administrative practices
