The Role

We are seeking a highly capable National Transport Manager to take charge of our nationwide transport operations. You will coordinate and optimise transport across multiple sites and regions, ensuring cost‑effective, compliant and seamless service delivery. This is a senior, high autonomy role with real opportunity to influence how we manage transport as a core component of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and manage national transport operations across all branches

- Ensure compliance with relevant transport laws and regulations (e.g. chain of responsibility, heavy vehicle regulations)

- Lead process improvement initiatives to optimise fleet utilisation, reduce costs and boost efficiency

- Oversee fleet management: scheduling, maintenance, allocation and downtime reduction

- Act independently to resolve operational challenges and deliver continuous improvement across the transport function

What We’re Looking For

- Demonstrated experience managing transport operations on a national scale

- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the transport and logistics sector

- Proven track record in process optimisation and fleet management

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels

- Self-starter who can operate autonomously and make decisions with initiative

- Attributes such as flexibility, adaptability, safety-focus and professionalism

Desirable: experience working in high-risk, remote, or industrial environments
