Overview

The Department of Communities brings together the services and functions of disability services, child protection and family support, community initiatives and regional services reform.

Responsibilities

- The management and coordination of the functional needs of the unit, focusing on continuous improvement, operational planning, stakeholder engagement and implementation of best practices.

- Evaluating the compliance of the Screening Unit with legislative and policy requirements.

- Overseeing all financial, HR and other administrative systems.

- Providing leadership and contributing to divisional decision making.
