As a Junior Analyst, you will support the Firm to onboard new business efficiently and in accordance with all relevant legal, regulatory, ethical, commercial, strategic and reputational considerations.Covering the analysis and identification of professional conduct duties (conflicts, confidentiality), commercial conflicts/client alignment, strategic, and reputational risks when accepting new clients and matters, success in the role depends on a mix of legal analysis, commercial awareness, risk management, and communication skills.Reporting to the Business Acceptance Manager, key responsibilities in this junior role will include:* Analysing new client and/or new matters to determine risks and legal or commercial conflict.* Assisting with the review of new business conflicts requests.* Applying strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and understand policy and applying it to real-life scenarios.* Bringing excellent verbal and written communication skills, articulating conflicts assessment findings, analysis and solutions requirements effectively.* Conducting conflict checks / Analysing conflict search results using firm's conflict database by analysing and interpreting varied data to compile information into effective recommendations for stakeholders.* Liaising with internal stakeholders and Partners.* Escalating conflict issues to the Head of Conflicts with clear analysis and recommendations.* Screening matters and clients for sanctions and escalating any adverse findings.******About You**Drawing on our principles of betterment, quality and clarity, we are looking for those with exceptional analytical capabilities and an eagerness to learn and develop in the role. These roles suit an agile mindset; proactive approach and a confidence that comes from a curious and questioning mindset.
