Council of the City of Sydney, Australia Rokt Full time

We are Rokt, a hyper-growth ecommerce leader. Rokt is the global leader in ecommerce, unlocking real-time relevance in the moment that matters most. Rokt’s AI Brain and ecommerce Network powers billions of transactions connecting hundreds of millions of customers, and is trusted by the world’s leading companies.

We are a team of builders helping smart businesses find innovative ways to meet customer needs and generate incremental revenue. Leading companies drive 10–50% of additional revenue—and often all their profits—from the extra products or services they sell. This economic edge unleashes a world of possibilities for growth and innovation.

At Rokt, we believe in transparency, which is why we have a well-defined career ladder with clear compensation and growth pathways. Rokt’stars continually raise the bar, supporting one another and pushing the envelope of what is possible.

Overview

We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst. Target compensation ranges from $85,000–$125,000 including superannuation + employee equity plan grant, and world-class benefits. Equity grants are issued in good faith, subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility.

About the Role

As a Junior Business Analyst in the Network Integrity team, you will help protect the trust and quality of the data signals that power Rokt’s products and client outcomes. Working alongside engineers, data scientists, and product managers, you will analyze traffic patterns, visualize key metrics, and support decisions that strengthen our defenses against fraud and invalid traffic (IVT).

This is an entry-level role designed for someone who is eager to learn and grow. You do not need prior experience in fraud prevention or network security. You will bring your curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and comfort with data to the role—and develop new skills with the support of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

- Contribute to analysis of traffic patterns and signals, helping to spot unusual trends and areas to investigate
- Use SQL and analytics tools to prepare, clean, and interpret data for the Network Integrity team
- Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations that make data easy to understand for both technical and business stakeholders
- Help measure the effectiveness of fraud & invalid-traffic detection and integrity systems by collecting and analyzing key performance data
- Partner with engineers and data scientists to provide insights that inform design choices and threat-mitigation strategies
- Support the preparation of reports and materials that clearly communicate the business value of integrity initiatives

Qualifications

- You are curious, motivated to learn, and excited to grow your skills in data analysis and ecommerce
- You enjoy working with data, and feel comfortable with SQL, spreadsheets, and data visualization tools
- You collaborate well with others, listen actively, and share your perspective with openness and respect
- You are detail-oriented and conscientious, knowing that accurate data supports stronger decisions
- You care about the impact of your work—protecting clients, improving data quality, and contributing to sustainable business growth

This role is ideal for someone early in their career or undertaking a career transition who wants to develop as an analyst, gain experience in large-scale data environments, and be part of a supportive team that values learning and integrity. If you don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.

Why Join Rokt

- Impact Across the Business: This role isn’t confined to one team - you will get exposure, and build subject matter expertise, in many areas of the business. You’ll gain a broad view of the company and improve how all teams operate. The solutions you build can save hours of work and drive significant business value.
- Innovate with AI: Be a pioneer in applying AI and automation internally at a company that truly values innovation. If you have creative ideas for using AI, Rokt is the playground to bring them to life.
- Endless Learning: Every project is a new puzzle to solve across different domains, so you’ll constantly expand your expertise in operations, analytics, product, and more. With Rokt’s rapid growth, new challenges and opportunities to learn will never stop coming.
- Empowered Culture: Join a team of owners in a culture that encourages you to act boldly and learn from every experiment. You’ll have autonomy to innovate, support when needed, and recognition when you deliver results.
- Great Environment & Benefits: Work with smart, down-to-earth colleagues in a vibrant, inclusive workplace. Rokt offers transparent career progression, continuous development opportunities, equity ownership, and perks to support your growth and well-being.

We believe we’re better together. We love spending time together and are in the office most days (teams are in the office 4 days per week).

We at Rokt choose to create a company that is as diverse and inclusive as the world we live in by attracting, growing & keeping the best talent. Equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

If this sounds like a role you’d enjoy, apply here, and you’ll hear from our recruiting team.

Note: The first stage of the recruitment process for this role is to complete a 15-minute online aptitude test as well as an employee personality profile assessment, which will be sent out to your application email. Successful candidates will be contacted to discuss the next steps.
