Responsibilities

- Preparation of fresh and nutritious meals for residents in line with their dietary needs and wants
- Tailor meals for dietary requirements, allergies and personal preferences
- Prepare texture-modified diets and supplements that remain tasty and appealing
- Collaborate with the Concierge for special events and Clinical Managers to keep dietary records updated
- Maintaining a hygienically clean kitchen that is fully compliant with the aged care quality standards
- Working collaboratively with team members to ensure the effective running of the household, focusing on resident needs and preferences

What we are looking for

- A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
- Strong customer-centric approach and relationship building skills
- Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or similar
- Ability to build relationships with older people
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety
- Understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) is preferred
