About the Positions

CAAPS is seeking applicants for administrative, family support, and coordination roles to support CAAPS programs and stakeholders. Roles include administrative officers, family support workers, key workers, and casual support workers in various locations (e.g., Berrimah, Malak).

Key Responsibilities (examples)

- Provide general administrative support, manage calendars, prepare documents, presentations, reports, and communications.
- Maintain filing systems; contribute to a safe working environment per CAAPS policies and WHS legislation.
- Attend meetings, produce agendas, distribute minutes; collaborate within multidisciplinary teams; participate in quality assurance and training.
- Uphold drug-free policies and participate in drug screening as required.
- Provide in-home or community-based support as applicable (for Family Support Workers and Key Workers).
- Establish and maintain referral pathways, coordinate supports, and complete administrative tasks, reporting, and compliance duties.
- Engage with stakeholders, build networks, and contribute to service quality improvements.

Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications

- Effective verbal and written communication; ability to adapt to diverse needs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to work independently and within cross-cultural teams.
- Proficiency with Windows software; confidentiality and data management experience.
- Current NT Driver’s Licence (minimum C Class); Current First Aid Certificate; Current Criminal History Check; Current Ochre Card (Category E) or evidence of application.
- Relevant qualifications in Administration, Community Services, Social Work, or related field (progress considered for some roles).
- Certificate in Administration or related field (advantageous for some roles); NAPCAN Mandatory Reporting Certificate or willingness to obtain.

Role Highlights by Position

Administration Officer: provide administrative and operational support, welcome visitors, respond to inquiries, maintain records, and support meetings.

Family Support Services (FSS) Worker: intensive in-home support, trauma-informed, family-led casework, and collaboration with DT FHC referrals; regular clinical supervision as part of professional development.

Casual Support Workers: trauma-sensitive care for young people and families affected by substance use; expression of interest via the page.

Key Worker (Darrandirra CFC): front-line service delivery with families and young people; establish referral pathways and coordinate supports; engage in community forums and activities.

Casual/other roles may be re-advertised at the CEO’s discretion under Special Measures.
