Your new role
If you’re a passionate, experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer, this could be the role for you CMI Toyota, one of SA’s most iconic brands, is seeking a new Accounts Payable Officer to join our Administration team. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing and processing CMI’s payables, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance with our policies and procedures.
What you’ll be doing
- Processing supplier invoices with accuracy and timeliness
- Managing the Accounts Payable inbox, consulting with managers for approvals
- Preparing and processing payment runs
- Reconciling supplier statements, resolving any invoice discrepancies
- Supporting stakeholders across the business with Accounts Payable queries
- Contributing to month-end activities, including reconciliations
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and accuracy
About you
To help you succeed in this role, you’ll possess the following skills and experience:
- Working knowledge of Accounts Payable principles
- Significant experience in high-volume Accounts Payable roles
- Efficient and thorough, with a sharp eye for detail
- Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in complex, multi-site businesses
- A natural curiosity and willingness to “ask the question”, identifying opportunities for improvement
