About the Role
As Graduate Accountant, you will support multiple finance functions — including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). You will help maintain accurate financial records, process month-end tasks, prepare reconciliations and journal entries, and contribute to reviews and improvements of financial processes.
What You Will Do
- Assist with bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations and cost accruals.
- Prepare journals and support month-end reporting.
- Process weekly credit card and plant hire allocations.
- Collate, review and analyse financial data to support reporting and project tracking.
- Manage internal finance queries and ensure compliance with accounting standards, controls and policies.
- Work collaboratively with the finance team to streamline processes and deliver timely, accurate financial information.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (completed or near completion), with a solid grasp of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications; highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professional, discreet and collaborative in approach.
- Adaptable, eager to learn and contribute; ability to streamline processes and support continuous improvement.
- Current driver’s licence, access to own vehicle, and ability to undergo a satisfactory onboarding and police check.
