
Front Office Administrator

As the first point of contact for Queensland Cricket’s visitors and stakeholders, this role is all about creating a professional, friendly, and memorable first impression. You’ll bring energy and organisation to our reception while also supporting day-to-day office operations. From greeting players and guests to keeping our team organised behind the scenes, your impact will be felt across the whole organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Customer Service
- Warmly welcome and assist visitors, players, officials, and staff, ensuring a positive experience.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and enquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Provide accurate information on Queensland Cricket programs, events, and facilities.
- Maintain a polished reception area and meeting spaces.
Administration Support & Office Management
- Coordinate mail, deliveries, and courier services.
- Manage meeting room bookings and scheduling.
- Process invoices and support general finance administration.
- Take ownership of office supplies, stationery, and equipment needs.
- Report and follow up on facilities issues with the Facilities Manager.
- Assist with the coordination of internal events, staff meetings, and functions.
- Provide ad-hoc administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
Key Capabilities & Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine commitment to customer service.
- Previous experience in reception, administration, or office support.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time-management skills.
- Confident with Microsoft Office and general office systems.
- Able to manage competing priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Flexible, adaptable, and proactive when solving problems.
- A team player who enjoys working collaboratively.
- Experience within a sport or community-based organisation.
- Exposure to facilities management or coordination of office/facilities services.
