Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Investor Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic engagement initiatives that drive shareholder participation and influence outcomes across capital markets and M&A transactions. This role combines business development focus with campaign strategy, ensuring every shareholder program is designed to optimise engagement, maximise participation rates, and create value for clients.

The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of high-impact solicitation campaigns, aligning commercial objectives with regulatory compliance and market best practice. Acting as both a strategist and execution lead, they will provide insights, oversight, and direction to internal teams and external stakeholders. By leveraging data-driven performance analysis and a deep understanding of shareholder behaviour, the Investor Engagement Manager will position campaigns to achieve measurable outcomes, unlock growth opportunities for Automic’s business, and reinforce the firm’s market-leading reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Campaign Leadership: Lead the design, planning, and execution of outbound and inbound solicitation campaigns, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practice.
- Business Development & Client Advisory: Partner with client relationship teams and senior executives to identify new opportunities, shape engagement strategies, and provide expert guidance on investor behaviours and market sentiment.
- Market & Shareholder Insight: Utilise data analytics, market intelligence, and shareholder profiling to anticipate trends, inform strategy, and deliver targeted, high-impact campaigns.
- Growth & Innovation: Contribute to the firm’s broader business development agenda by identifying opportunities for new services, innovative engagement models, and expanded client relationships.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with operations, sales, and client delivery teams to ensure campaigns are executed efficiently, effectively, and in full compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Performance Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Develop and deliver detailed reporting and insights on campaign performance, providing clients with transparency and actionable recommendations to enhance outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted partner to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment, confidence, and successful delivery across all phases of the engagement lifecycle

Desired Skills and Experience

Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in commerce or finance related degree preferred
- Previous experience managing shareholder engagement campaigns
- Interest in financial and capital markets
