The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Lean / Six Sigma Practitioner to join our team at FleetPartners. As a key member of the operations team, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and streamline processes across our car leasing business. Following a company-wide transformation, your role will be to apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to identify opportunities, eliminate waste, and foster a culture of excellence and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Process Improvement: Lead process improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, etc.) to identify inefficiencies, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Analyze current workflows, systems, and processes to find gaps and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Implement best practices and tools to improve key performance indicators (KPIs) across operations, customer service, and fleet management.
- Hold ownership for the business process repository “The Garage” and ensure processes are published for visibility with the right sign offs in place
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Collect and analyse data for the Operations function as a whole and drive the Operations Performance Tracker with the business
- Collect and analyze performance data to drive improvements and identify trends.
- Use statistical tools and Lean tools to measure process performance and develop strategies for improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with departments to align efficiency improvement initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Train and mentor employees on Lean and Six Sigma principles, creating a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.
- In conjunction with the Head of Operational Excellence, develop and deliver continuous improvement training to the organisation

Qualifications / We’re looking for someone who is

You’re proactive, adaptable and passionate about continuous improvement, with strong leadership skills and a can-do attitude to drive operational excellence. You will hold the following qualifications and expereince:

- 3-5 years of experience in Lean or Six Sigma roles, financial services industries experience is preferred.
- Proven track record of leading AND implementing successful process improvement projects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (preferred).
