Job Description

Position objectives

- To provide cleaning, general park and grounds maintenance duties for the Queenscliffe Tourist Parks
- To provide pleasant, efficient and effective customer service to site holders, accommodation customers, their visitors and other related parties

Key responsibility areas

- Performing a range of grounds care duties such as weeding, spraying, pruning, mowing, mulching, sawing, raking and fertilising
- Performing a range of general maintenance duties such as minor carpentry repairs, painting etc.
- As required, book reservations using the Rooms Management System (RMS) software system
- On a rotating basis be on-call for the Queenscliffe Tourist parks
- NB: weekend, public holiday and after hours work will be required

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications and experience

- Demonstrated customer service and cleaning skills
- Experience in dealing with the public
- Experience with RMS or a similar booking system is desirable but not essential
- A current Victorian Driver’s Licence

Key Selection Criteria

- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Demonstrated commercial cleaning skills
- Experience in safe manual handling techniques and use of chemicals, including safe usage certificates
- Experience in dealing with the public
- An understanding of the hospitality industry and/or appropriate experience in a similar industry

Mandatory Requirements

- You have the right to live and work in Australia
- A current Working With Children Check (or must be obtained before commencing employment)
- Police Check (must be obtained before commencing employment)
