We are seeking applications from a suitably qualified Student Attendance Monitor to track, review and report on student absences, in this important safeguarding position.

About the role

Reporting to the Student Safeguarding and Risk Officer, key responsibilities of this role include:

·  Provide administrative oversight of the monitoring of student attendance across the academic, residential, and co-cocurricular programmes of the School;

·  Designing and streamlining School systems and processes relating to monitoring student attendance; and

·  Liaising with staff and parents regarding student absences

This role will be offered on a full-time ongoing basis, but part time and/or reduced work weeks may be considered.

About you

This opportunity will suit someone who has:

· An understanding of the importance of monitoring student attendance as a student safeguarding measure;

· Thorough attention to detail and is highly organised;

· Initiative in designing and streamlining processes, particularly relating to monitoring student attendance and maximising the use of available technology;

· Strong administrative skills; and

· A high level of interpersonal skill to engage with diverse stakeholders.
