We’re currently partnering with a well-established manufacturing business to help them find their next Finance Administrator. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Melbourne, ideal for someone in the early stages of their career looking to build hands-on experience and grow within a supportive finance team.

About the Company

Founded in the late 70s, our client is a rapidly growing manufacturing business with a turnover of over $100M. Following their acquisition in 2024, the company is undergoing an exciting transition, integrating into newer global systems and processes.

With approximately 60 employees, the culture is close-knit, supportive, and team-oriented, where every individual’s contribution is truly valued.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position supports key financial, compliance, and reporting functions during a period of business growth and change.

It’s a hands-on opportunity ideal for someone looking to broaden their finance skill set and gain exposure to a wide range of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Financial Controller with BPC reporting and monthly/quarterly/year-end reports.
- Manage complex accounts payable tasks.
- Assist with BAS returns and payroll tax.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Assist with financial reporting across the full calendar year.
- Support the ERP transition.
- Thrive in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.

Candidate Profile

- Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role (experience in manufacturing is a bonus).
- A strong team player with clear and confident communication skills.
- High attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Mandarin language skills are a bonus but certainly not required.
