Boilermaker – Kenwick, WA
Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Boilermaker to join our high-performing workshop team based in Kenwick, WA. As a Boilermaker, you’ll be responsible for the repair, fabrication, and maintenance of mining equipment and components. Working in a clean, safety-focused environment, you’ll help keep our equipment performing at its best and ensure our customers receive reliable service.
Roster: Monday – Friday, day shift.
Responsibilities
- Fabricating, repairing, and maintaining mobile and fixed mining equipment and structures.
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Performing high-quality welding, cutting, and fitting work to precise standards.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and to company and customer specifications.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area, following all EHS procedures and policies.
About you
We’re seeking a qualified Boilermaker who takes pride in their craftsmanship and teamwork. You will bring:
- A Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking) or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in mining, heavy equipment, or fabrication workshop environments.
- Strong welding and fitting skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- A proactive attitude towards safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- The ability to work independently and contribute to a positive team culture.
- You should have a strong and proven safety culture, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong customer service focus.
- Basic computer literacy and a Class C Manual Driver’s License are required.
