About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Gardener to join our maintenance team at Kingfisher Bay Resort on the beautiful K'gari (formally Fraser Island). In this role you will be required to perform general gardening and maintenance duties to ensure the landscaping and grounds of the resort complex meet a high standard.

To be successful in this role you will need to be hands on and physically fit, a team player with positive 'can do' attitude, well‑presented and enjoy working outdoors. Previous experience in garden maintenance or landscaping, preferably in a similar industry will be highly regarded.

Permanent part‑time and short‑fixed term contracts are available under live‑on and live‑off arrangements. Affordable live‑on island options including accommodation, 3 staff meals a day, utilities and Wi‑Fi for just $310.50 per fortnight.

Live‑off staff are required to travel by barge from River Heads to Kingfisher Bay Resort, Monday to Friday with availability during peak seasons.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

- Previous experience in a similar role

- A valid open driver's licence

- Chainsaw ticket (desirable)

- Certificate in Horticulture (desirable)
