**The Opportunity**

Bring your experience in event co-ordination to transform K'gari's unique wilderness into bespoke itineraries where guests can banquet under the stars, swim in fabulous Lake McKenzie, sail into the sunset on a champagne cruise or enjoy a bush tucker barbeque around a beachside campfire.

Based at the resort, this is an opportunity to **live and work** on the world's largest sand island. You’ll be involved in a diverse scope of events from weddings, social groups, conferences and incentives plus a range of educational school groups.

**Skills and experience you'll bring to the role**:

- Hold experience in a similar wedding & events coordination role.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to create rapport with clients.
- Proficiency in general administration tasks and invoicing.
- Strong collaboration skills within a large hotel/resort environment.
- Passionate about events, hospitality and tourism.
- Qualification in Events Management (highly regarded).
- Hold a valid QLD RSA (or the ability to obtain).
- Hold a valid QLD Driver's Licence.
