Overview

Disability Service Coordinator to manage Supported Independent Living homes in Loganlea, Pimpima and Wooloowin. As Disability Service Coordinator, you will coordinate services and lead practice at a site level, providing supervision, on the ground role-modelling, coaching and support for staff as well as supports to the clients. You will be responsible for building a culture of service excellence in a high intensity disability service in the Southern Suburbs of Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate day to day operations of group homes or day programs including household accounts, staffing costs, and program activities.
- Initial escalation person for site team members.
- Ensure all mandatory reports are provided on time.
- Drive Supported Independent Living development with team members.
- Ensure properties are maintained to appropriate standards.

About you

- Minimum Cert IV in Disability or Individual Support, or equivalent experience in disability support.
- Experience managing and supervising staff and client outcomes in multiple accommodation settings.
- Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS, principles of active support and human rights-based approach to service delivery.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient computer literacy in MS Office Suite and online systems.
- Practical experience in achieving community inclusion.
- Ability to transport clients in Achieve Australia vehicles (automatic gearbox) across the region. Candidates without a current QLD driver’s licence are subject to a risk assessment.
