Overview
Mind Australia is a leading community-managed specialist mental health service provider with a range of residential, mobile outreach, centre based and online services. We have been supporting people living with the day-to-day impacts of mental illness, as well as their families, friends and carers for over 45 years. Mind provides practical and motivational support that helps people develop the skills they need to move on, thrive and improve quality of life. Mind is committed to diversity and social inclusion.
About the role: The Housing with Support residential service is a long-term integrated social housing program for people living with severe and enduring psychosocial disability. The service works collaboratively with clients providing personalised 1:1 support, shared supports and group activities based on strengths and goals identified in an individual recovery plan to build daily living skills, strengthen relationships with families and carers, enhance social connections and community networks, and grow confidence and capacity to live safely in the community.
