Digital Canberra is seeking an enthusiastic Database administrator to contribute to a business system uplift project, supporting the delivery of modern, secure, and reliable systems.

As part of a Multi-disciplinary team, you will provide high-quality support for systems including design, enhancement and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with Windows Database administration along with one or more of the below Technologies and will collaborate with technical teams to uplift business systems.

Experience with one of more of the following technologies is highly desirable:

- Microsoft Office 365

- Microsoft Server Operating Systems and related infrastructure

- Microsoft SQL Server

- VMware vSphere ESX including vCenter

- Commvault Data Protection Suite

- Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN)

- Networking, including Azure Networking and Network segmentation

Eligibility/Other requirements: Current AGSVA NV1 security clearance or ability to obtain and hold a NV1 security clearance is mandatory.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 30 June 2027 with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.

Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
