Position Overview The incumbent should be an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in High Voltage & Medium Voltage substations. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of proven track record in design and engineering of HV & MV substations and leading engineering teams. Requirements - Mandatory: - Proven experience in HV & MV design, specifically within Australia. - Familiarity with Australian standards (AS/NZS) and regulatory requirements. - Preferred: - Certifications for Engineers in Australia: - National Engineer Register - Chartered Engineer - Membership of Engineers Australia - Professional Engineer's certificate for Victoria and Queensland. - Experience of working in Energy Storage particularly in Battery Energy Storage Systems. Primary Responsibilities - AIS & GIS Sub-station design & engineering up to 400kV covering MV system as well. - Auxiliary LVAC and LVDC System design - Preparation of cable schedule - Preparation of Single Line Diagram, Protection One line Diagram, Layout, earthing, lightning, cabling design calculations and drawings - Preparation of Cabling layouts - Design review of all equipment drawings including control schematics - Design review of CRP scheme and substation automation system - Design review of PLCC and FOTE system - Good knowledge of MS office - Familiarity and application of Australian, American, British and European Codes/Standards. Your Profile - Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering – Preferable. - In-depth exposure to Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is an added advantage.
