About the Role

In the role of Clerical Officer, your primary responsibility will be to deliver a comprehensive and customer-focused service across Administration Department, with a particular emphasis on administrative tasks related to Pre-admissions.

Your duties

- Ensuring patients possess the appropriate level of health fund coverage.

- Take payments of any out of pockets fee from patients.

- Balance and close cash drawers at the end of shift.

- Provide timely and accurate information to the Clinical Team.

- Basic Medical Terminology Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terms adds value to your profile.

- Problem-Solving Aptitude: You display an effective ability to solve problems.

- Expanded Medical Terminology Knowledge: A deeper understanding is always an advantage.

- Health Insurance Criteria Awareness: Knowledge of various health insurance criteria is a plus.

- Meditech System Familiarity: If you are acquainted with Meditech, that’s a bonus

Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate of $32.83 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements

- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months.

- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
