About the Role

Hastings Deering is seeking a Service Coordinator to join the Townsville Operations team. This is a permanent, Monday to Friday position based at our Townsville branch.

As a Service Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

1. Providing high-quality, cost-effective service exceeding customer expectations and ensuring no customer complaints.
2. Monitoring all jobs for quality and efficiency with the Service Administration Supervisor.
3. Following up on rework, write-offs, or goodwill requests with the Service Administration Supervisor.
4. Accurately encoding all relevant documentation in AX as required by the Service Administration Supervisor.
5. Ensuring labour hours are correctly encoded and any missing hours are accounted for daily.
6. Assisting in developing accurate customer repair estimates and delivering them through AX.
7. Participating actively in Caterpillar Production Systems Service Operation Development and Assessment (SODA).
8. Managing SIP/WIP and forecasting invoicing expectations accurately.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

- Desirable qualifications in Business Administration.
- Experience in a service-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of CAT / HDAL products and services.
- Understanding of job workflow processes.
- Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while providing excellent service.
- Proven stakeholder and customer engagement skills with confidentiality and professionalism.
